For students

Can I join after Class 12? Does my stream matter?

Yes, many students join right after Class 12. Arts, commerce and science students all join creative courses — what matters most is your interest and practice. Our counsellor will tell you the exact eligibility for the course you choose.

Do I need to be good at drawing?

Not for every course. Drawing helps in animation and design, but video editing, VFX compositing, UI/UX and many 3D roles depend more on practice with software and a good eye. A free counselling session helps you find the right fit.

Which course should I choose — video editing, animation, VFX or design?

Pick the work you enjoy making. Love editing reels and videos? Video editing. Love cartoons and characters? Animation. Love posters, apps and social media? Graphic or UI/UX design. Love movie effects? VFX. Take our 1-minute course finder, or talk to our counsellor for a free demo class.

Will I get a portfolio at the end?

Yes. Courses are project-based, so you build a portfolio or showreel as you go. That portfolio is what studios and clients look at when hiring.

Do I need my own laptop?

You practise on the centre’s lab computers during class. A personal computer helps you practise more at home — ask our counsellor which specs suit your course before you buy anything.

Can I study while doing college?

Many students do. Ask our counsellor about batch timings that fit your college schedule.

For parents

Is animation, VFX or design a real career?

Yes. Films, OTT, games, advertising, e-learning and social media all need trained creative people. According to industry reports quoted by MAAC (EY, Ministry of I&B), India’s AVGC sector is growing at 16–20% a year. Like any career, success depends on skill, practice and a strong portfolio.

Who runs MAAC?

MAAC (Maya Academy of Advanced Creativity) is the media and entertainment education brand of Aptech Ltd., an education company working since 1986. MAAC has 25+ years of experience in creative training.

Is placement guaranteed?

No institute can honestly guarantee a job. MAAC offers placement assistance — portfolio guidance, interview preparation and support in finding opportunities. Hiring decisions are made by recruiters, based on the student’s skills and portfolio.

What are the fees? Is EMI available?

Fees depend on the course and any current scholarship or offer. Tap “Ask for fees & EMI” on any course and our counsellor will share the exact fee and payment options.

Can I visit the centre with my child?

Please do. Book a free campus visit — you can see the labs, meet the counsellor and ask every question in person. We are near Rewari bus stand, open Monday to Saturday, 9 AM to 7 PM.

Admissions

How do I take admission?

1) Talk to our counsellor (or take the 1-minute course finder). 2) Attend a free demo class at the centre. 3) Choose your course, batch and payment option. 4) Start learning.

Are scholarships available?

Scholarships and admission offers are available from time to time. Ask our counsellor what is running for the next batch.

What is CareerX and CreatorX?

They are two MAAC pathways in the main career programmes. CareerX prepares you for studio jobs with production workflows and a studio-ready portfolio. CreatorX (after CareerX) prepares you for freelancing, personal branding and earning as an independent creator.
