For parents
Your child wants a creative career. Here’s what you should know.
Honest answers to the questions parents ask us most — about careers, MAAC, placements, fees and safety. No exaggerated promises.

1 · Career scope
Is this a real career?
Yes — and it is bigger than most people think. Films, OTT series, games, TV, advertising, e-learning, e-commerce and social media all need trained designers, animators, editors and VFX artists.
16–20% yearly growth
India’s AVGC (Animation, VFX, Gaming, Comics) and digital media sector growth, as per EY / Ministry of I&B figures quoted in the MAAC 2026 brochure.
Studio jobs and freelancing
Graduates can work in studios and agencies, in companies’ in-house design teams, or independently as freelancers and creators.
Skills over marks
In creative fields, employers mostly judge a candidate by their portfolio — the quality of their work. Practice and guidance matter most.
A creative career, like any career, needs effort. Students who practise regularly and build a strong portfolio have the best chances.
